Is with indifference

Gaps of ignorance
I can still see right through
The maleficence
And I've crawled
For so long

It's fumbled into my palm
From now on

I can see what exists
Ahead of incompetence
Though it never ceases
It's lost all precedence
I know just what
You're busy thinking about
And I sure hope
You're not planning on trying it out
And every day I think of changing direction
Slipping in and out of new projections
Sometimes I wish I could
Take a moment to miss my old reflection
And I know I keep complaining too much
And I know I keep saying as such
I've never felt so close I could touch
And you're probably starting to pick it up now
Lost, overboard
Never really sure
Where I'm ever heading
My sentience losing it's threading
Needs still travelling
Constant unravelling
Of my own, self-appointed
Notes, wearily remaining disjointed
I ask myself again
Where am I gonna fit in?
I know that I can just adapt but
I can't help but feel entrapped by
The constant shift into artificial
That I feel like I'm stuck in the middle of
Claims of comfort seem dubious
I guess I'll just feign insouciance
