As Time deconstructs itself
Placing my last books on the shelf
Left deserted to the dust
Never once again picked up
It all disappears
Was this being ever really here?
Hoping that the time will come late
That scholars will last excogitate
What I've trailed behind me
Nothing to dare define me
Foolish weariness to blame
For an easily forgotten name
Decomposing nothingness
Percieved insignificance
Unfathomable measures expose
my lack of grasp in my deep repose
Please don't percieve
Any doubts in your mind
As second sight
If you believe
Yourself to be
Think of what leaves
When you run out of time
Keeping in something else
For yourself
Breathing in unseen wealths
Of help
I know it's hard to see
When everyone else leaves
But it's not hard to figure out
There's too many factors in mind
I know that, but even so you'll find
That just a touch, just a word in
And you'll see soon they too are hurting
Alone with my thoughts
Bereaved of it all
I see a climbing vine to the heavens
Snap cleanly and fall.
